Giving Hope to people during the holidays!

On Sunday, November 6, we will launch holiday GiveLoveAway outreaches called giftHOPE. There are multiple projects centered around Thanksgiving and Christmas designed to provide hope and the love of Jesus Christ during what can be a difficult time for many people. Our desire is that every individual/family/small group pick at least one project and get involved. Registration will begin November 6 for all projects.

Thanksgiving

• The Pantry Project – Volunteer at the Pantry to help feeding 500 families on Tuesday, November 22. Need 50 volunteers and all must be over 16 years of age.
• Gift of Love Project – A $50 donation will feed family  for not just Thanksgiving Dinner but also for the entire 9 days children are out of school.
• Hope To-Go – On Thanksgiving morning, teams will cook, prepare, and delver hot meals to those unable to provide a hot meal for themselves. Volunteer teams needed to cook food, prepare food and maps for delivery, and deliver food.

Christmas

• Hope Tree – Volunteers will purchase ($25 or less), wrap, and return gifts to Crossroads Church.  The gifts will benefit C.A.M.P., a local ministry partner who will be serving for than 900 children in West Georgia this Christmas.
• Senior Stockings - Volunteers purchase various toiletries (list provided), assemble them in Christmas stockings, and deliver during a Christmas event for a local Senior Center.
• Adopt a Family - Individuals, families, and small groups will adopt nominated families from within our church and help them with Christmas needs.
